For our ninth edition of BlueSkyFriday Favourites, we’re thrilled to feature member Dean Piper. From A-list red carpets to luxury PR and hospitality, Dean shares his top “life hacks” for living smart and staying sharp.
Dean Piper, 45, is one of Blue Sky Friday’s OG members. As an entertainment writer and editor, he travelled the globe for over 15 years covering red carpets from the Oscars to the Globes and meeting all the stars he ever dreamt of shaking hands with.
These days he runs two successful PR firms. Beak Comms is a traditional PR outfit where clients include the artist Chris Levine, The Body Camp and Roar Fitness. Then with his new company Deprave, which he runs with Helen ‘Rave’ Cook, he works servicing VIPs and talent to hospitality venues and hotel groups across the globe.
His recent work includes running two years of events at Wilderness Festival for IHG Hotels & Resorts as well as a special one off event this year’s Six Nations rigby tournament. Not to mention celebrating an Incredible Occasion for the Intercontinental Hotel on Park Lane with Poppy Delevingne and her brand Della Vite. Dean and Rave also work with restaurants including Langan’s Brasserie in Mayfair, trendy Mexican Ixchel on the Kings Road and brand new opening Chez Lui in Notting Hill.
