This month, we're shining the spotlight on someone very close to home, BlueSkyFriday's very own Astrid Harbord. From her roots in hospitality to co-founding BSF and championing incredible causes, Astrid brings warmth, wit and a whole lot of style to everything she touches.
Astrid started her career in PR and then found herself working hospitality. It was probably meant to be, as her father ran No 11 Cadogan Gardens Hotel and she lived next door as a child. She worked at the Bulgari Hotel, London building its presence locally and then joined Birley Clubs, to re-launch Annabel’s.
She was the Membership Director of Birley Clubs for seven years. Astrid is a Founder of BlueSkyFriday and is also currently working with the French restaurant company, Lou Lou Groupe. She co- founded the Lady Garden Foundation and is a trustee of the The George Adamson and Tony Fitzjohn Wildlife Trust.
When not working or fundraising for charity, she loves hanging out with family and friends, dancing and travelling the world.
