Travel, Books & Hidden Gems with Tabitha

Last year we went to 3 Spear Ranch in Wyoming. It's a small family run working ranch with properly hot cowboys, and I loved it! Definitely one of my favourite places ever. I even got on a horse! It's not five star, but it is totally glorious, so much so I don't want to share the secret with you all, and definitely not the cowboys!

Menorca is also such a great destination for little hidden gems. My dream restaurant there that is really local and cool and on the water so great with kids as they can paddle while you eat, is Restaurant Tamarindos. I still fantasise about it. Hauser & Wirth in Menorca is a very cool gallery. It's a great destination, you take a ferry across to Illa del Rei which houses the gallery and the restaurant there, Cantina, is also delicious.

My favourite hotels would have to be Babylonstoren in South Africa which is just heavenly. It has beautiful gardens and superb wine and food. Jump in a row boat and live out your White Mischief dreams!

Closer to home, if I am ever missing, you will probably find me in a villa at Quinta da Comporta, amazing beach restaurants and miles of white sand.

Also, head to Cap Ferret in southwest France, grab a bike and try Hotel de la Plage to hang with all the Parisians.

A book I have read recently and adored is 'The Artist' by Lucy Steeds, it lulls you along with a beautiful story of male egos and overlooked women and is a sultry summer read. Of course if you want a bit more smut, then you need to buy my new novel 'Playing the Field' which is out later this month!

Emily Moon River Lodge in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, where we have a house is just delicious with the most beautiful views. It is a must visit if you go to Plettenberg Bay!
