Jo shares the little things bringing her joy right now, from hot yoga sessions and playful wardrobe staples to powerful reads, go-to cocktails and signature scents.
Favourite Fitness Class
I’m a hot yoga fan so had to find a studio quite quickly after we moved. New Energy Yoga in Winchester has a lovely serene space with great instructors and the classes are on the enjoyable side of being tough!
Favourite Item In My Wardrobe
Recently probably my striped trousers from La Veste. Designed in Spain, the brand is inspired by vintage aesthetics with a focus on mixing colours and patterns. It’s a playful brand that embraces individuality and encourages its customers to break away from the typical trends.
Favourite Book
We went on a family holiday to Morocco, and whilst the kids surfed, I had the luxury of indulging in a book. It was The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and was one of the best books I’ve read in a very long time. It’s a powerful tale of 2 sisters navigating life in a German-invaded France in WW2. It celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the importance and forgotten heroism of women during that time. You immediately become emotionally invested so I warn you it is sob inducing as well as being thought provoking. I’m currently reading The Women by the same author and am absolutely loving that too
Favourite Cocktail
Negroni. It’s the perfect balance of bitter and sweet and is always my go to at the start of an evening out
Favourite Scent
I’m a big fan of the Beauty Pie fragrances as they are reasonably priced but smell expensive. They’ve sadly discontinued my favourite which had notes of fig so I’ve gone back to an old favourite, Byredo Gypsy Water.
